The Flagler Habitat for Humanity home store is open to the public and carries items such as gently used furniture, appliances, household items and some building materials. The funds generated from the sale of the donated items are used to support the daily functioning of the affiliate and to build Habitat houses. This ensures that 100% of the money donated to this affiliate goes directly toward the building of homes.
Flagler Habitat for Humanity continually seeks donations to be sold in our Home Store . If you are cleaning out a garage or storage unit and have items you no longer need, or are replacing furnishings or appliances in your home, please consider calling Flagler Habitat for Humanity. We take donations of used and working furniture, appliances, household items (such as lamps, dishes, pans, etc.) and some construction materials.
Donations may be dropped off directly at the store during normal operating hours or we can schedule a pick up of larger items. Pick ups are generally done on Mondays and Thursdays and need to be scheduled approximately 1-2 weeks in advance. Our drivers will carefully remove the items from your home and provide you with a charitable contribution form to be used for tax purposes. Some items that we do not accept are clothing, linens, blinds, waterbeds, glass sliding doors, organs, books, toys cosmetics, food, medicines, VCR’s and some additional merchandise.
